Slow Down, Tune In & Grow —Conversation Series
This fall, join me on IG Live for a series of conversations with women from my personal and work life as we discuss self-care and intentional living.
Each one will highlight a specific theme from A Year of Self-Reflection Journal.
These conversations will capture the vulnerability that I strive to showcase + normalize through my work. We will talk about the unique challenges that women face when it comes to navigating our lives and careers while staying true ourselves and in tune with our inner rhythms.
I often talk about the power of words and conversations, and how they can empower or disempower us. I believe that open-hearted discussions about life and meaning can serve as portals for collective wisdom to pour in, fill our cups and ease our minds. My hope is that these conversations provide you with stories, ideas, and techniques that find you just at the right time and help you slow down, tune in and grow.
This series will take place on IG Live and replays will be recorded and saved to IGTV. To watch live, go to my Instagram profile at the designated time. Once you’re on my profile page, click my profile pic to watch.

She loves using her perspective to expand the creative human experience and raise the standard for modern creative culture. She is based in Los Angeles and lives in Homegoods.
Theme: Home Space (pages 28-31 in A Year of Self-Reflection)
Kaira and I will discuss how to make your environment more reflective of who you are, the healing benefits of organizing and decorating your space authentically and how to incorporate more of what inspires you and less of what creates tension in your living spaces.
Reflection Prompts:
If you could change anything about your living or workspace to make it more reflective of who you are, what would it be? Use your five senses to describe your ideal space in detail.
What room in your home is your favorite? Why?
Choose an area of your home to clean, organize or redecorate. Which details that you listed about your ideal space are possible to implement now? Journal about the transformation process.
Make a list of places you like to go for peace of mind. How does this environment bring you peace? Can you incorporate some of those characteristics into your home space?

Theme: Lessons in Gratitude (pages 95-100 in A Year of Self-Reflection)
Nia and I will talk about the difference between surviving and thriving, and how to recognize abundance beyond money and material things. We'll talk about pursuing your interests to create a flow of inspiration and gratitude in your life, and how limiting beliefs can make us feel unworthy of the life we envision for ourselves.
Reflection Prompts:
Are you surviving or thriving? What do these words mean to you?
What are you most grateful for at this time in your life? Make a list of the people, places, interests, hobbies, and simple pleasures that make you feel abundant. How does making this list affect your mood?
Being honest with yourself can lead to powerful insights. To open your mind to more abundant ways of thinking, write down a list of things that you want to be, do, and have.
In what ways, beyond money, do you consider yourself to be wealthy and prosperous?

Dana and I will chat about defining success from within. The theme for our discussion is The Soul of Success, one of the weekly themes from A Year of Self-Reflection Journal. We’ll talk about boundaries, burn out and the importance of self-care in achieving your goals.
Reflection Prompts:
What’s your personal definition of success? How has it changed over the years as you’ve evolved as a person?
Do you consider yourself to be successful? Why or why not?
What boundaries must you have in place in order to achieve your idea of success? Does the way you currently spend your time and energy allow you to feel successful?
